Vernham Dean Fete was run by the Playing Fields Association, see below.

Vernham Dean Playing Fields Association

Welcome to the 2002 Fete.
The Association was formed in 1968 and this will be our 30th Annual Fete. I have been a member for all those years and very proud to be it's Chairman. Over the years the field has been improved and better facilities built for all to enjoy. The area is well used as this is a very active community and we currently support five youth football teams and two senior sides as well the Vernham Vixens Netball team who this year won their League. We are always adding to our range of equipment and during the past year we purchased a bouncy castle and two small marquees.

Our major project for 2002 is the replacement of the bank slide which is reaching the end of it's useful life.

Mac East
VDPFA Chairman
