CLA hold Game Fair at Romsey
26 Jul 2002
Described at the World's Greatest Countryside Event, the CLA Game Fair was held at Broadlands near Romsey from July 26th to 28th.
"With over 700 stands, and a major programme of events in the arena, you needed to stay for three days to get round it all. It was a very impressive event, and the CLA must be proud of the response."

"I particularly enjoyed The Village - the brainchild of Jeremy Groves, who was High Sheriff of Hampshire two years ago. It encapsulated in an imaginative way the experience of living in an English Village."

"With the countryside having had a terrible time, there was a mood of optimism that the worst was behind them and people were feeling more cheerful. But there is a still real concern that the Government doesn't understand rural life and is antipathetic towards it."
