Sir George re-visits King Arthurs Way, with Cllr Pat West
13 Aug 2002
Sir George and County Councillor Pat West spent a morning on the King Arthur's Way estate, meeting Neighbourhood wardens, staff from Testway, tenants and street-cleaners, ending up at the Entertainer Pub with campaigners for safer crossing over the roads next to the estate.

"This was a very productive morning, getting a closer insight into the issues on the estate. Safer pedestrian access across the A343 and other roads, together with better public transport links to Tescos are major issues which I will be following up. Cllr West and I plan to hold an Advice Bureau on the estate in October, and she is pursuing issues concerning childrens play."
