The Annual General Meeting of the North West Hampshire Conservative Association was held at the Village Centre at St Mary Bourne. About 80 people were present.
After three years as Chairman, Col Christopher Van der Noot stood down as Chairman. He was presented with a House of Commons Guest book as a mark of appreciation for his work for the Party, and his wife Liliana was given a bouquet of flowers by Association President, Sir David Mitchell.
His place as Chairman was taken by Margaret Milner-Williams, who lives with her husband Charles in Thruxton and has many years experience working for the Party.
Roy Perry MEP and Sir George Young MP spoke at the meeting, focussing on the local elections, and the conflict in Iraq.;
