Over 150 gardens in Hampshire are affiliated to the National Gardens Scheme a charity that started in 1927. Private gardens are open to the public,with proceeds going to charities.
"Last year, Hampshire raised over £109,000 - with major beneficiaries being Macmillan Cancer Relief and Marie Curie Cancer Care."

"We visited one in Appleshaw which was beautifully laid out and maintained."
