The Thruxton Village Association organised another successful fete, raising funds for local good causes. These include the Thruxton and District Seniors Club, the Little Acorns, the Church and the Village Hall.
The Chairman of TVA, Jeremy Bally, having masterminded the event was out of action with a leg injury on the day.
Highlights included a Dog Show, judged by Rev Ann McKenzie; and background music was supplied by a Barrel Organ. An Art Exhibition was held in the Church at the same time.
