Knights Enham Junior School raised £2500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind. John Algar from Head Office receives the cheque from a representative of Portman Building Society at a special Assembly to commemorate the occasion.
“The children raised the money in a variety of ingenious ways, and I was delighted to hear that the school is going to raise another £2500.” The Head of the School, Tim Eyles, recently visited No 10 Downing St with Sir George and one of his pupils, as guests of Cherie Blair.
