One of the visitors to the Mid Hants Primary Care Trust's stand in the Chantry Centre was the local MP, Sir George Young. He had his blood pressure and chloresterol level taken by Christine Dunn, Senior Community Staff Nurse based in Andover.
"This is the second year of this initiative, and there were even more callers than last year. As it was aimed at men, obviously most of the callers were male, but quite a few women came on behalf of their husbands or partners, as men are traditionally more wary of visiting a nurse or doctor."

"There is a now a demand for a similar week for women, which I hope MidHants PCT may be able to respond to."
