Dodie Marsden ordained as Deacon
29 Jun 2003
The Bishop of Winchester ordained Dodie Marsden as Deacon at Winchester Cathedral on Sunday morning, and St Peters Church, St Mary Bourne, was packed for Evensong as the village celebrated her ordination.
Rev Martin Coppen took the Service, assisted by The Revd Nona Harrison, and parishioners met afterwards in the village hall for refreshments.
"All Dodie's friends and admirers are delighted that she is now a Reverend; and the Church will be greatly strengthened by welcoming people like Dodie on board."
