BT held a "Surgery" for MPs in the Jubilee Room at the House of Commons, under the sponsorship of Sir George Young.
"This offers MPs a convenient way of raising issues with BT that affect their constituency. Many want to discuss the rollout of broadband, but I know that there are other issues. I am trying to get the House authorities to let me access BT Broadband at the House, which is not possible at the moment. Our own system - the PDVN - does not have the same flexibility."
Sir George said he was delighted that a broadband registrations target had been set for every exchange except one in his constituency, and he was sure they would all be met.
