Guests at the Andover Central Club’s Pensioners Christmas Party were Sir George and Lady Young. With help from Father Christmas, Sir George drew the raffle.
“The Club generously offered to give £100 to a nominated charity, and they presented me with a cheque for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice at Andover Hospital. I am most grateful for this, and I knew the Hospice is as well.”
Sir George met the one hundred pensioners at the party, who had a traditional roast beef dinner, and then played bingo and listened to the entertainment.
