Balksbury Infant School held an Open Evening, and the Mayor of Test Valley and the local MP dropped in. (Photo to follow)
"It was good to see so many of the parents at the Open Evening - it shows how well supported this school is. We looked at the work that had been done during the Focus Week - which had a piscine theme."
"The school was also rightly celebrating its recent OFSTED report, which concluded that this was a good school benefitting from good leadership and management and good teaching. Consequently, pupils achieve well and the school provides good value for money."
Sir George was taken round by Sheila Hindle, Chair of Governors, and by the Headteacher Patricia Murley.
