With his wife Aurelia, Sir George visited the new Sainsburys store in Tadley, opened last week after Sainsburys acquired the former Budgens store on the site and spent £5.7m rebuilding it.

"I welcome the 120 new jobs for the area following the investment, and the extra range of produce offered in the store. For my constituents who work or live in Tadley or nearby, this is tremendously good news. I was very impressed by the store, and enjoyed meeting many of the staff."
