Andover and District Citizens Advice Bureau celebrated the end of their successful Outreach Programme, funded by lottery money. This enabled CAB staff and volunteers to go to Whitchurch, Ludgershall and other villages so their services and advice could be accessed by those who found it difficult to get to Andover.
"This was a popular programme, bringing free professional advice to your doorstep. I know how much it was appreciated."
The CAB are hoping that it will be possible to carry the programme forward, but that will depend on getting adequate funding from Test Valley Borough Council, and Basingstoke and Deane.
"I will do what I can to get the support the CAB needs. They need some £25,000 to keep this show on the road, and currently have about £12,000."
