While not quite on a par with the BAFTAs or the Oscars, one of my occasional anecdotes about life as an MP (which you can read at http://www.sirgeorgeyoung.org.uk/articles) has won first prize in ePolitix' new monthly "Westminster Tale" competition.

What they haven't told me (so far) is whether mine was selected from hundreds of other brilliant sketches, or won by default as this month's only entry! Meanwhile I'm in touch with Messrs Sue Grabbit and Run for advice on whether my libel (or is that slander) case against ePolitix should be for awarding me a non-blue rosette or putting me in such a and unlikely green tie . . .
