Project Workshops hosted the launch of Open Art 2004 - the fifth annual celebration of the wealth of local talent.
Launching the event, Cllr Neville Whiteley - Mayor of Test Valley - paid tribute to Ian Mackie, Head of Leisure at TVBC, and his staff for organising another successful festival.

"Not only could we see the work of the permanent artists based at Project Workshops, but the marquee accommodated a wide range of other artists displaying crafts, jewellery and artefacts. We bought some mugs and a splendid dodo from Sara Drake, and a painting from Sue Climpson, who is based in Whitchurch."

"It was good to hear that Project Workshops is fully let, with a classical guitar maker just having moved in."

Just 4 Jazz gave the Gala Evening some atmosphere with background music.
