Thruxton Village holds Fete
6 Jun 2004
Thruxton Village held its annual fete to raise funds to be put to good causes in the Village.
For example in the past, the Thruxton and District Seniors Club, The Little Acorns, the Church and the Village Hall have been among the beneficiaries - however any group within the Village can apply for a Grant.

"Many congratulations to Jeremy Bally and the team for putting on another successful fete. Holding the fete on the eve of the commencement of building work on the Village Hall brings home how fundraising can help invest in the fabric of the village."

Manning the public address system was Charles Milner-Williams, Parish Council Chairman; his wife Margaret sold the tickets for the Grand Draw, and Alison Hopkins organised the entries for the Dog Show.
