Hannington to get Wireless Broadband

A new approach by FDM Wireless Broadband is expected to start delivering in Hannington from mid August this year.

Thanks to the persistent efforts of local resident Clare Kinnear, who has campaigned tirelessy, local people quickly responded to FDM's new WiExEx offering, which is intended to fill in where BT cannot deliver ADSL. FDM are offering 512kbps performance wiht a contention ratio between 8:1 and 20:1 and with expected ailability of 99.5%. The service is said to be viable with only 10-15 users in a community.
