Overton launched their two day Sheep Fair over the week-end, with local people dressing up in Victorian costumes.
"The village responded with enthusiasm to the challenge, and put on a week-end of great entertainment. There was always some activity going on, and the stalls were very imaginative. Thousands of people visited the village."
"Many congratulations to the organisers and the stall-holders, who put so much work into planning the event; and many thanks to Portals for sponsoring it."

The fair waqs opened at 10am on the Saturday, with a flock of sheep running through the village. There were more than 50 stalls, as well as street entertainers, a flower festival and Punch & Judy shows
