Beech Hurst Park hosts Family Fun Day
7 Aug 2004
REAL - a Rural and Environmental Arts Link - took place in Beech Hurst park, bringing the arts and the environment together.
Test Valley Borough Council and Hampshire County Council organised a one-day programme of exhibits, demonstrations, workshops and performances for the whole family to enjoy.
"There were a number of zones, each with their own themes. The quiet zone, with reflexology and reki head massage was very popular."
The activity zone taught children how to carve, and hoisted them into trees to get a bird's eye view of the town.
There were a number of craft tents where local artists could display their wares./
"This was an excellent way of spending a morning in Andover."
