Knights Enham Infant School celebrated the opening of their new Community Room by asking the local MP and the past Mayor to come along to a party, preceded by some songs sung by the children. This included a song specially commemorating the building of the new Community Room.
"The new Head, Sandra Hunter and her team are building on the strengths of the school and broadening the range of services it provides. This new room will strengthen the links between parent and child, and between school and community. There are a range of activities available - computers, Stay and Play, Bounce and Rhythm - which will help the whole of the local community."
Sir George said he was delighted to meet parents from Saxon Fields who were sending their children to Knights Enham, and urged them to tell their friends and neighbours how pleased they were with the school. "The staff, parents and Governors are doing a first class job azt this school, and they deserve everyone's enthusiastic support."
