Sir George welcomes additional morning train from Andover, Overton and Whitchurch
21 Oct 2004
Responding to the new timetable for South West Trains, which takes effect from December 12th, Sir George said he was delighted that there will be an additional train in the morning peak calling at Andover, Overton and Whitchurch.

“I sometimes catch the 8.06am from Andover, and frequently there is standing room only at Andover – and the position is even more acute at Overton and Whitchurch. So the introduction of a new train during the morning peak will, hopefully, increase the number of constituents travelling to Waterloo who can get a seat.”
