After a Service in the Garden of Remembrance at st Mary's Andover, the Mayor of Test Valley Cllr Neville Whiteley took the salute with Brigadier R Wheatley CBE, President of the Andover Branch of the British Legion and the Deputy Lieutenant, Mark Radcliffe.
The address at the Service was given by Revd Sqn Leader Jonathan Beach, Chaplain RAF.

"What was noticeable this year were more people at the service - and in particular more young people. War is not something which used to happen a long time ago - it is with us today."
