The Andover Community Education Group organised a day of entertainment at the Guild Hall, Andover, to raise funds for an Orphanage in Sumatra.
"I congratulate Pam Diamond, and Roberto and Faye Ranieri for organising such a wide range of quality entertainment, and raising money for such a worthy cause."

The event was held in two parts; the first part was held from 2.30-5.30 and consisted of a display of photographs of the stricken area and news regarding the construction of an orphanage which the event was supporting.
There was also a toy sale and face painting and a drum workshop to amuse the children.
A variety of music was played by the Andover Museum Loft singers, Conolly and Son, Free Expression, Poesia in Movimento, The Rock Bottom Blues Band, The Underground, Unpredictable Mumble Bees and Zero club revisited. And the Belly Dancers.

The second part of the event was from 7.30 - 11.45 and was intended for revellers aged 18 and over only.
Musicians taking part included The Man Behind Mindzai, Christie George and Jambo le Got.
