Sir George raises School Meals in the House of Commons
21 Mar 2005
Speaking in the Budget Debate on Schools, Sir George spoke of the large number of pupils and parents who had contacted him about Jamie Oliver's proposals to improve school meals.
"This issue has clearly caught the Government on the hop, and their response has not met people's expectations. Within the next few days, we will be coming up with suggestions which I hope will meet the public demand for action."
