Breakthrough - the Breast Cancer Charity - raised thousands of pounds with a walk in the countryside round Hannington.
The event was based on the farm owned by Keith and Mary Brown; walkers paid £6 for a traditional English breakfast and the option of a one, two or three hour walk before or after the meal. Thanks to generous sponsorship, the proceeds of the ticket sales and the raffle went to the Charity.
"Over 200 people had started by the time Aurelia and I left at mid-day, and we enjoyed our exhilarating walk. It was a great way to raise funds for a great charity."

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research and education.
