New Hall for Vernham Dean

Vernham Dean have got a new village hall, funded by £100,000 from the National Lottery Charities Board, £25,000 from Test Valley Borough Council, £12,000 from Hampshire County Council and £7000 from the Parish Council. The balance to bring the total to £160,000 was raised locally.
“The Village Hall Management Committee did very well to raise so much money, and replace the old hall, which was 70 years old, with this fine new one.”
