Guest speaker at the North West Hants CWCC Annual Meeting was Andrew Hayes, the prospective parliamentary candidate for the next door seat at Winchester. Between him and Sir George is Sheila Allen, CWCC Chairman. The meeting was held at Picket Piece Village Hall.
Andrew told the well-attended meeting why he had joined the party and of his experiences fighting a seat in South Wales.
“We are going to win at Winchester; and we will win because we will all rally behind William Hague and the Conservative Party.” Andrew Hayes spoke about the excellent by election result in Ayr the night before, and of the swing away from the Liberal Democrats in local and Euro elections.
