At last the waiting is over - along with the phoney war - and on 5th May the British people will have an opportunity to dislodge Mr Blair and his autocratic approach to Parliament and people.

No doubt the next four weeks will see a continuous flow of promises from Labour, the same kind of promises and spin we've seen day in, day out since 1997. And what have they got to show for it?

Young people who can't afford to buy a house. Older people who can't afford out-of-control council taxes. Middle-income families who are now tightening their belts as their net income actually starts to fall, as a direct result of Labour's stealth taxes.

I look forward to debating the issues with the people of North West Hampshire! You can meet me around the constituency (check my campaign diary), or you can "Ask a Question" online, or you can text me on 07624 806278.

If, like me, you want to see the back of Mr Blair and his Government, why not Get Involved!
