County Councillor Pat West and Sir George met Grateley Parish Councillors in the Plough for a working lunch, when they discussed low-flying helicopters, parking at Grateley Station, and traffic at the poultry farm.
"We visited Grateley station to see the parking problems, and we spoke to residents whose drives were blocked by commuters - who found the carpark full when they arrived. I am pursuing with the Strategic Rail Authority the need to expand the carpark. Pat and I popped into the local shop, and looked at the new hall at Grateley Primary School before the official opening next month. This was a very productive afternoons work, which included talking to parents as they collected their children from school."
