The campaign generated lots of interest at Woolton Hill Junior School and St Thomas' Church of England Infant School, when Sir George met parents at the school gates on Friday afternoon, along with County Council candidate John Maxwell, who is chairman of the local (East Woodhay) parish council.

Traffic around these schools has become a significant 'burden of success' as more parents choose to bring their children from (LibDem) West Berkshire into (Conservative) Hampshire for their education. The County has already committed funds for traffic improvements, but John wants to see more done and will be working with the head teachers on futher improvements.
