Before meeting commuters as they arrived at Andover station, Sir George and the team canvassed all of Junction Road.
"This is a road where opinions are fairly evenly divided, but where the other parties do not appear to have done any canvassing."
"This election is unusual in that there are more people still undecided at this stage than in previous elections; and more people are persuadable on the doorstep than has been the case before. The traditional view has been that there is no point dicussing politics on the doorstep - you should identify your supprt and move on. Paradoxically, in this election, where there is a large amount of apathy, there are also more people who genuinely want to talk things through."
After canvassing in Junction Road, Sir George met commuters coming home at Andover Station
