The May Bank holiday is traditionally the time when the villages of Hurstbourne Priors and Upper Clatford hold their fairs.
"Hurstbourne Priors is probably the larger of the two, drawing crowds from Andover with people attracted by the clay pigeon shooting. Both were lucky with the weather and Upper Clatford had a Nelsonian theme to celebrate the bicentenary of Trafalgar."
The proceeds from both go to local voluntary organisations.
