The Annual Duck Race was held in Monxton, raising money for Amport School and Monxton Village Hall.
"Six duck races were held, at £1 per duck, raising an useful sum of money. With the finishing post at the Black Swan, this was a well-supported event."
There were plant stalls and a tombola, and advance tickets were selling for the Hoe Down on July 2nd.
