The Bishop of Basingstoke, Trevor Willmott, opened an Exhibition of France, Italy and Flowers at St Thomas' Church Hall, Woolton Hill. He was introduced by the Rector, Christine Dale, who explained that the appeal was to rebuild the lychgate at the entrance to the church, currently covered in scaffolding.
"These paintings by Pamela Grayburn and Silvia Bowman are of the highest quality - and I bought a photograph by Pamela's daughter Nicky, which I found very ingenious. Well done Brian Burgham, Bertha Bates and the team on organising another successful exhibition at the Church Hall for a worthy cause."
