Jody and Claire Scheckter, who run an organic farm at Laverstoke Park, held another Open Day so local people could get an insight to what happens on the farm.
"Many more people turned up this year - which is excellent news. There is a real interest in the type of farming that Jody is promoting."
"Jody's ambition is to produce the best-tasting, healthiest food, using the most natural environment possible. He goes for slow growth, rather than fast growth, with the livestock spending as much time outside as possible. The buffalo milk ice cream is a particular delicacy. His philosophy is healthy soil creates healthy grass, which creates healthy animals, then healthy meat and milk and so healthy people."
