St Peters School in Appleshaw held its Annual Fete, hoping to raise £1500 for school funds.
"Appleshaw is a splendid village school, popular not just in the villages nearby but also drawing in pupils from Andover. With about 80 pupils, it is one of the smaller schools and this has its attractions - though it means mixed year groups. Under Paul Haydon's leadership, it goes from strength to strength. It was good to see the fete so wellsupported by parents and the village; and it was kind of Bennetts to donate the meat for the hamburgers."
