The Thruxton Motor Sports Centre was kindly lent to North West Hampshire Conservatives by Henry Pelham - the owner of the site.
Kart Racing for 13-16 years old was followed by Kart Racing for the seniors - with teams from Andover and surrounding villages competing against each other.
"Brian Hutchins and his team did a superb job in organising the day - which had a fete running in parallel with the Racing. There were some important local Derby's on the race track, with Clatford 2 emerging triumphant."
At the fete, local magician Michael King ran a popular stall, revealing some of the tricks of the trade, and the fine weather drew many to the beer tent.
