The KIngsclere Village Plan was put on display in the School Room at the Methodist Church, and comments were sought on how the village might be improved.
"Kingsclere have already produced a Village Design Statement, which deals with the physical development of the village; the Village Plan deals more with the quality of life -access to leisure opportunities, to the health service and promoting a sustainable and safer environment. All credit to Peter Woodman, Alan Denness and the team who produced the various modules for the exhibition."
"I was concerned that the spring that feeds the brook has dried up, and pleased that the local community is in touch with Southern Water and the Environment Agency to see what can be done to stop further erosion of the aquifers."
"I was also pleased to hear that the village has been the first to introduce a "No Drinking" policy in some of the public spaces and that this is proving to be self-enforcing."
