At the invitation of Caroline Shirley, who teaches at Kimpton Primary School, Sir George and Bruce Parker -former political editor of BBC South - went back to school. They interviewed each other in front of Years 5 and 6, and then answered questions.
"It was quite nostalgic being interviewed by Bruce again; but I managed to even up the score by asking him some questions for a change."
"At the end of our session, quite a few children were interested in a career in television, and a career in politics. Some of the questions were quite sharp - would I ever vote against my Party, for example."
"The children had looked at both our websites and done a lot of homework. They were well-prepared and well-behaved - better dare I say than some MP's!"
