May Day Fete at Hurstbourne Priors

The May Bank Holiday saw the traditional Hurstbourne Priors May Day Fete. One of the star attractions was the medieval jousting, taking place against the background of the church.
Other features included clay-pigeon shooting, the Punch and Judy Show and some high quality garden plants.
“After a week of indifferent weather, everyone was delighted the sun shone for the fete.”
