East Woodhay holds Church Fete
29 May 2006
The Annual Fete to raise funds for St Martins Church, East Woodhay was held in the grounds of Burlyns, by kind permission of Sarah Ede.
The Chairman of the Committee which raises funds both for the church and the village school was Toby Ward, who said he was delighted by the turn out. "Despite some variable weather, there are large crowds at this popular event."
Atmosphere was provided by the East Woodhay Silver Band, situated near a garage in case of a change in the weather. A dog show and a Children Fancy Dress Competition were the main attractions in the arena
