The Church Fete was held on the Ashford Hill Recreation Ground and opened by Sir George Young.
In anticpation of next year's Centenary of the Foundation of the Scouting Movement, the Fete was jointly run with the local Scouts, raising funds for a camp.
"Tom Sneyd and his team did a great job in raising funds for the Church and the Scouts on one of the hottest days of the year."
Music was provided by Brass Balls, and the star attraction was a "Its a Knockout" competition for all ages.
The traditional Dog with the Waggiest Tail, and Dog You would most like to take Home competitions were held. The beer tent, manned by the landlord from The Ship, was a popular feature.
