Wolverton holds Fete
25 Jun 2006
The Wolverton Fete was held at the home of Hugh and Isobel Murray, raising funds for the church and the village hall.

Scheduled to end before the World Cup Match, Sir George opened the Fete at 1pm, and as he finished Tadley Concert Brass struck up.

"The village fete has not been held for three years, and it was good to see it revived and in such good health. The Star Attraction was the Children's Dancing Display by Lynden School of Dance. Hugh Murray's garden was a great setting, and there was a good turnout from local folk."
