Grateley Primary School holds Fete
8 Jul 2006
Sally Taylor, from BBC South West, opened Grateley Primary School's Fete. With her were the local MP, Sir George Young and the Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley Cllr Jim and Maria Neal.
"This was a great day, with a Gazelle helicopter from Middle Wallop, a 2-ten Black Thunder Car, and dancing by children from the school. The landlord from the Plough manned the beer tent, and the funds will go to completing the IT suite in the school."

"Jacke Sendell and the team on the PTA did a first class job"

The Head, Michael Garside, acted as MC.

Over £2000 was raised. So far this year, the PTA have pruchased a projector for the IT suite and a Projector and Interactive Whiteboard for Key Stage 1. They hope to provide fencing and equipment for the Netball Court, being built on the school field.
