The latest stage of the improvements to Clatford Church of England Primary School were rewarded by a visit from the Bishop of Basingstoke, Trevor Willmott. He commended the community for raising the funds for the gates, which he said were welcoming rather than forbidding. After the gates were blessed, some Year 6 pupils read out their recollections of their first year at the school, and their thoughts about moving on. The whole school then sang a song, hoping that humanity would turn its back on war.
