This year's Tenants Conference was held at the newly-opened Lights, in Andover. It was opened by the Managing Director of Testway, Steve Benson and Debbie Pike spoke about Community Challenge, followed by Rachel Credidio on New Developments.
In the afternoon there were workshops on Ecohomes and Recycling; Anti-social Behaviour: Customer Profiling and the Andover Family Learning Project.
"There was a good exhibition on during the lunch break, and I look in on the Test Valley Borough Council's Recycling Project. I took away a pencil, made out of recycled jeans, and enjoyed talking to Mike Pratt and Sabrina Garside, who were in charge of the stall. We already have Alternate Bin Collection in Penton Mewsey and I have had no complaints yet. But the test will come when it is extended to Andover. The stall showed what could be recycled and what couldn't; and if you filled in the Energyu Saving Trust form, you got a low energy light bulb."
