County Councillor David Kirk and the Chairman of Hampshire County Council, Pat West, joined Sir George at the opening of the new Connexions Centre in Andover.
"This popular information, advice and guidance centre for young people has moved from the first floor of the Chantry Centre - where it was not easy to find - to this highly visible site in the centre of the town."

"This is more good news for Andover, following on the opening of Lights last month, and the announcement of a multi-million pound new college to replace Cricklade. Young people are Andover's future, and many need some helf and direction to fulfil their full potential."

"1400 young people have visited the office since it opened last April, and have received help and advice on a variety of issues - careers, housing, benefits and health. Roy Lawton, the Manager, and his team have been doing a first class job."
