Paul Funnell raises funds for Charities
27 Jan 2007
Paul Funnell celebrated his 40th Birthday at the White Hart in Penton Mewsey with a Casino Royale Evening. Profits from the gaming tables went to two local charities.

Sue Morgan from Naomi House and Neil Westerbrook from Smile4Rich accepted a cheque for £500. Smile4Rich raises funds for the Wessex Neurological Centre at Southampton General Hospital.

"Paul caused a stir in the village when he arrived in an Aston Martin, registration number 007. His guests helped him raise funds and the total is likely to exceed £2000."

"Rick Frost and the team at the pub did a superb job in recreating the atmosphere in Casino Royale."

Oddjob was also in the White Hart, along with many ladies James Bond would have been happy to escort.
