Guest Speaker at the Andover Genealogical Society at Weyhill Village Hall was Lady Young, who spoke about the life of her father, the sculptor Oscar Nemon.
Lady Young was introduced by the Chairman of the Society, Joy Cousins, who explained that the proceeds from the talk would go to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice and to the Prisoners Education Trust. 140 people were in the hall,and they listened to a 55 minute talk illustrated by pictures of Oscar Nemon's life and works. £765 was raised.
It was the fourth talk in six months, and her next talk is later this month to the House of Commons History of Art Society.£
